Meet CHRIS COMER, DMD, FAGD
Originally from Mississippi, Dr. Chris Comer spent his formative years in Augusta, GA, before embarking on an academic journey at the University of Georgia. He moved back to Augusta upon acceptance into the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where he spent an additional four years dedicated to honing his dental expertise.
Post-dental school, Dr. Comer furthered his clinical skills through a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Charlie V. Norwood VA Medical Center. Following this enriching experience, he practiced dentistry in the upstate region of South Carolina before making his final move to Savannah. Commencing his professional endeavors by commuting daily across the river to work in Bluffton, SC, Dr. Comer seized a pivotal opportunity that manifested in 2013 when he assumed ownership of Dr. Gregg Evans’ esteemed practice upon his retirement.
Dr. Comer married Savannah native and attorney Maria Danello. In 2023, their family grew with the birth of their son. In his rapidly diminishing free time, Dr. Comer indulges in various hobbies and interests. Dr. Comer is an enthusiast of literature, woodworking, travel, and running.

Dental AssistantBorn in Thailand, as an Army child Jira grew up all over the world. She graduated high school at Ft. Stewart in Alabama and attended Phlebotomy School in Napa, CA, and Dental Assisting School in Fate, TX. Jira is dedicated to helping patients alleviate pain, feel comforted during treatments, and regain their beautiful smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, focusing on fitness and health, exploring arts and crafts, and learning new things from YouTube. Jira’s children are her pride and joy and she feels blessed to work with wonderful colleagues.
Theresa Lee
Dental AssistantTheresa, a native of Savannah, GA, graduated from Sol C. Johnson High School in 1986. With certifications in dental assisting and expanded duties, she has extensive experience in pediatric and general dentistry. Theresa has spent 30+ years in the dental profession and continues to find great satisfaction in getting to know her patients, connecting with them, and making them happy with the care they receive. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her yard with her flowers, spending time with family, reading, going to the beach, shopping, and socializing with friends by the pool. Theresa and her husband of more than 30 years share a blended family of four children. She finds joy in her wonderful job, great co-workers, and loving family.
Lisa E. Murdock
ReceptionistGrowing up in Savannah, GA, Lisa graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy in 1978 and attended Armstrong State University. She has been working in the dental field since 1981 and joined Dr. Christopher Comer’s practice in 2004. Lisa has taken several continuing education classes over the years to stay updated in her field. She enjoys interacting with all of her patients, many of whom she considers like family, and looks forward to seeing them during their visits. In her free time, Lisa loves working in her yard, reading, dining out, going to the beach, meeting new people, and spending time with her son, friends, and close-knit family.
Stacy Vickers
Dental HygienistStacy grew up in Savannah, GA, and graduated from Calvary Day School in 1987. She attended Armstrong College for Hygiene School, graduating in 1993. Before pursuing dental hygiene, Stacy went to cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser for three years. With more than 30 years of dental hygiene experience, Stacy values taking care of her patients and their dental needs, considering them like her second family. She also enjoys the camaraderie with her co-workers. In Stacy’s spare time, she loves boating, going to the beach, and working in her yard. Married for almost three decades, she has two stepchildren and enjoys life with her family and friends.
Kaye Eaton
Dental HygienistKaye grew up in Savannah and Ailey, GA, and graduated from Armstrong State College with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1983. She has always attended various continuing education classes to stay current in her field and maintains certification in CPR/basic life support. Kaye started her dental hygiene career in 1983 at a pediatric dental office, where she worked for more than 20 years before joining Dr. Christopher Comer’s practice in 2007. With more than 40 years in the dental profession, Kaye cherishes her sweet patients and co-workers, whom she considers a second family. In her spare time, Kaye enjoys taking long walks during the summer and watching sports on TV. She and her husband, Philip, have been married for almost four decades and have two children. Kaye’s family is the light of her life, and she loves making her patients smile.
Linda Pugh
Treatment Care CoordinatorLinda grew up in Lawrenceville, GA, and graduated from Central Gwinnett High School before attending Dekalb Community College for Dental studies. Although she joined Dr. Comer’s team in 2018, she has more than four decades of experience in the dental field. Over the years, Linda has acquired several certifications to enhance her dental training and knowledge and ensure the utmost care for her patients. Linda loves working with Dr. Comer and the staff and takes pride in referring her friends and family to the practice. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, sitting on her dock, watching the sunset with a nice drink at the end of the day, and sharing her life with her dog. Linda loves exploring Savannah and cherishing moments with her soulmate, Douglas, family, and friends, who are the center of her life.
